Our inviting hotel is located right in the centre of the little charming mountain village Siusi/Seis at an altitude of 1,004 m.The Artnatur Dolomites is the ideal starting point for various hikes across the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. Many hiking trails start right outside our hotel or on the nearby Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm. Furthermore, there are many other sports and activities available in the immediate surroundings: climbing, mountain biking, skiing and golfing, all nestled amid lush green woods and meadows against the backdrop of the magical mountains.
Many hiking trails start right in front of the hotel and lead into the nearby Sciliar-Catinaccio/Schlern-Rosengarten nature park. The park is known to be the oldest nature park in South Tyrol with a high fauna diversity.
Our house is located at the foot of the imposing Sciliar/Schlern. The mountain is at the centre of many old tales and legends, an immensely powerful place and cult site and, thanks to its characteristic shape (a mountain massif with two singular mountain peaks), one of South Tyrol’s trademarks.
The village is embedded in a unique natural landscape provided by the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm resort, Europe's largest high plain. This is a truly unique place renowned for its spectacular views of Val d'Isarco/Eisacktal. The village itself is also well worth a visit. Just above the village centre you can find the Hauenstein castle ruins, made famous by Oswald von Wolkenstein, and the stunning Salegg ruins. There is also a number of lovely small churches just next to our hotel, such as St. Valentine's chapel or the Holy Mary church and spring.

By car
Take the Brennero/Brenner highway A22 – exit at Chiusa/Klausen-Val Gardena/Gröden – continue on the state road towards Chiusa/Klausen and Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck – shortly after Ponte Gardena/Waidbruck turn left towards Siusi/Seis-Castelrotto/Kastelruth – after about 5 km turn right towards Siusi allo Sciliar/Seis am Schlern – at the roundabout take the first exit – you reach the Artnatur Dolomites after 150 m.

All EC and IC trains (Munich-Verona) stop at Bolzano/Bozen central train station. Regional trains also stop in Chiusa/Klausen.

Busses leave regularly from Bolzano/Bozen and Bressanone/Brixen to Siusi allo Sciliar/Seis am Schlern.
